Setup and result
First configure WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → Shipping zones with a native Free shipping method. Open HookSpark → Cart Notices & Checkout Messages → Free shipping, enable the message and save. Keep {remaining} in the pending copy. The success message appears when the native zero-cost free-shipping rate is actually available.
Example, checks and limits
Example: Italy requires €75 and the displayed cart subtotal is €57. The message says €18 remains. A €10 coupon changes the remainder to €28 when the shipping method counts after discounts. WooCommerce’s “Apply minimum order rule before coupon discount” setting changes this calculation. The plugin follows tax display and native coupon-only, AND and OR requirements. Unknown destinations, virtual-only carts, multiple packages and unsupported filters hide the promise. It never selects a shipping method. Pricing shipping grants and arbitrary third-party rate filters are not used to predict a future shipping threshold.
