Offer “Gift this product”

Setup
Edit a simple product or variable parent in WooCommerce → Products. In the Gift Cards product panel enable Gift this product and save. A dedicated gift-card product must already be configured.
Try it and check the result
For a €30 mug choose Gift this product: the composer contains the mug suggestion and €30 credit. For a variable product select Large priced €25 first: the gift uses that concrete variation. The email includes the suggested product and its link. The recipient may spend the credit on something else.
Limits and troubleshooting
This purchases store credit, not the suggested physical product. Stock is not reserved and the item is not automatically shipped. Current native displayed price and tax display determine the amount; third-party option charges and future discounts are not guaranteed. A variable parent without a concrete choice must be resolved before checkout.
