Setup
Use the gift-card code box in cart or checkout. Paste one valid code and apply it. The balance check uses the same form; [hs_gift_cards_balance] can also be placed on a dedicated WordPress page. Keep codes private: possession grants spending access.
Try it and check the result
With €50 credit and a €12 order, €12 is used and €38 remains after successful payment. A €60 order uses €50 credit and requires €10 by the selected gateway. A fully covered order can complete with zero payment due. Credit is applied after tax, with a separate gift-credit total.
Limits and troubleshooting
The alpha accepts one gift card per order and supports the store currency only. It cannot pay for new gift cards. Credit is reserved for an order so simultaneous checkouts cannot spend the same balance twice. Failed or cancelled orders release or restore credit according to order state. Use native classic or Blocks checkout; verify any custom checkout and gateway before launch.
