Accept private artwork
Development alpha 0.1.0-alpha.1 · Updated 20 September 2026
Accept customer files — Pro
Choose File upload, select JPEG, PNG and/or PDF, and set the maximum size. The hard per-file ceiling is 10 MiB; the host may impose a lower PHP upload limit. Each field accepts one file. Use a smaller limit where the fulfillment task allows it.
The customer sees upload progress and cannot submit the normal product form while that upload is pending. The server checks file contents rather than trusting the browser’s reported type. A successful upload produces a private reference, not a Media Library URL.
Unpurchased references expire after 24 hours. Expired references require another upload for a new purchase. An attachment associated with an order is preserved independently of this expiry. Order item details show the filename; the private reference is excluded from the normal email rendering. Authorized merchants receive a download control on the order item.
Files are stored privately in the site database, so backups include their bytes and storage grows with retained order attachments. This candidate does not claim malware scanning. Authenticated merchant HTTP download acceptance remains release work; do not publish the upload capability as fully accepted yet.
