Installation, compatibility and demo limits

Current tested environment
WordPress 7.1.1, WooCommerce 11.1.0 and PHP 8.2.29 with HPOS in Plugin Lab. The demo network reports WordPress 7.1. Package headers declare WordPress 6.8 and PHP 8.2 minimum; the minimum-version matrix is not yet certified. There is no verified minimum WooCommerce version claim for this alpha.
Installation
- Back up a staging site with WooCommerce active.
- Install and activate HS Product Options & Add-Ons Free first.
- For advanced fields, install the matching Product Options & Add-Ons Pro development package alongside Free.
- Open HookSpark → Product Options & Add-Ons, configure an inactive group, save and test before enabling.
Current release limits
Not approved for production or WordPress.org submission. Wider theme and builder compatibility, minimum versions, final accessibility/security review and the remaining acceptance matrix are open. Free and Pro must remain on compatible versions. Missing Pro providers fail closed instead of silently removing required paid options.
Demo safety
A personal sandbox lasts 60 minutes. Use fictional information and sample images only. Product editing is restricted to its demo catalog; media uploads are limited to JPEG, PNG and WebP, up to 2 MiB. Customer artwork uses the separate private-file policy shown in each field. Expiry revokes access; scheduled cleanup removes the site, user and private tables. Actual cleanup can follow expiry when the scheduler next runs.
