Troubleshoot a quantity rule

Start with the saved rule and the exact cart that reproduces the problem.

SymptomCheck and correct
The rule does nothingEnable and save it. Confirm the selected product/variation, audience and exclusions. The preview alone does not apply a rule.
The editor rejects a configurationRead the field-level error. Check positive whole numbers, minimum versus maximum, at least one valid multiple, and actual selected search results.
The product page looks right but the cart differsReview whole-cart and combined rules, other cart items and customer identity. Test the exact cart update, not only the product input.
An excluded product still mattersDistinguish exempt from not counted. Check whether another active rule covers it.
Two variations do not reach the minimum togetherAn individual parent rule counts each variation separately. Use the combined-variations selection if the intended rule is an aggregate.
A starting quantity seems ignoredIt is a suggestion for a new purchase, not a saved-cart reset. Other applicable restrictions also affect valid values.
A selected customer is outside the ruleCheck excluded users and all roles held by the account. Exclusions win within the rule.

A cart that is already invalid

A newly activated rule, changed customer session or catalog edit can invalidate an existing cart. Corrections that improve or preserve the relevant invalid state can be allowed without treating the cart as ready to buy. A valid-to-invalid update is rejected. Removing items and emptying the cart remain possible; remaining minimums can still prevent checkout. Never interpret an accepted intermediate edit as permission to place the order.

Make a useful bug report

  1. Record WordPress, WooCommerce, plugin, theme and relevant extension versions.
  2. Give the rule settings and product/variation involved, using test data.
  3. List exact actions: add 6, change to 7, update cart, proceed to checkout.
  4. State expected and actual results, and copy the visible error.
  5. Attach cropped screenshots of the settings and error. Hide personal/customer data, credentials and order details.

Check on a test site before disabling other extensions. Public support contact details will be added at release; this local draft does not offer a functioning support form or a response-time promise.

AI switch does not mean connected

Enabling AI access makes the supported abilities available; it does not connect an external AI client by itself. The shared adapter/client setup is separate, and transport has not completed end-to-end acceptance. Continue using the manual editor; do not rely on AI access as a release-ready setup route yet.
